Anti-Rag A Antibody

The Antibodies.com polyclonal antibody to Rag A (RRAGA) is raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated IgG in liquid form, with no fluorophore or enzyme label attached. This reagent specifically recognizes Rag A, a small GTPase of the Rag family that forms obligate heterodimers with Rag C at the lysosomal surface, where the Ragulator complex transmits amino acid sufficiency signals to mTORC1 and drives nutrient-dependent recruitment of mTOR to the lysosomal membrane. The antibody is validated for western blot detection of endogenous Rag A in lysates derived from human, mouse, rat, hamster, and Xenopus samples, enabling cross-species comparison of mTOR pathway regulation in vertebrate models of growth, autophagy, and metabolic disease. For best results, store aliquots at -20 degrees C, avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and brief centrifugation prior to use.
