Anti-Raf1 Antibody [540]

Raised against the Raf1 serine/threonine kinase, this unconjugated mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody (clone 540) is supplied by Antibodies.com for western blot detection of human Raf1. Raf1 sits at the head of the MAPK/ERK cascade, transducing signals from activated Ras to MEK1/2 and ERK1/2, and is a frequent subject of studies on proliferative, differentiation, and survival signalling, as well as on Ras-pathway mutations associated with Noonan syndrome and various cancers.

The lyophilised preparation is supplied as a 100 µg vial; reconstitution in sterile distilled water or PBS yields a stock suitable for further dilution. Endogenous Raf1 is detected in WB at its expected 70–75 kDa band, and the unconjugated IgG1 format is compatible with any HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated anti-mouse secondary antibody.
