Anti-Raf1 (Ab-259) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 257–261 (S-T-S-T-P) of human Raf1 and is intended for the detection of endogenous levels of the total Raf1 protein. The reagent is supplied as an unconjugated preparation at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. The product is available in a 50 µL pack size and is recommended for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows. Validated reactivity spans human, mouse, and rat samples, and suggested working dilutions are 1:500–1:1000 for WB and 1:50–1:100 for IHC, with the predicted molecular weight of the target being approximately 73 kDa. The antibody is purified by affinity chromatography on epitope-specific peptide after immunization of rabbits with peptide–KLH conjugates. For shipping and storage, vials are dispatched at 4 °C; upon receipt they should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
