Anti-Raf-1 (R282) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against an epitope flanking residue R282 of human Raf-1 kinase, a 74–76 kDa serine/threonine kinase that links Ras-GTP loading to MEK1/2 and ERK1/2 activation in the canonical MAPK signaling pathway. The antibody detects endogenous Raf-1 in human, mouse, and rat samples and is validated for Western blot analysis of cell lysates and immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections, supporting studies of pathway activity in cancer research, Rasopathies, and proliferation models. The reagent is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and is packaged as a 50 µl vial.
