Anti-Raf-1 (Q253) Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the Q253 epitope of Raf-1, this polyclonal reagent is supplied by Antibodies.com at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. The unconjugated antibody recognizes the Raf-1 serine/threonine kinase and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples. Raf-1 (also known as c-Raf) operates upstream in the MAPK/ERK cascade, transducing Ras-GTP signals to MEK1/2 and is widely investigated in oncogenic signalling, differentiation, and cellular stress-response pathways. The 100 µl vial is sufficient for multiple blots or staining runs, and aliquoting on first use is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the stock. Store at -20°C in working aliquots to preserve activity; brief handling at 4°C is acceptable during use.
