Anti-Raf-1 (phospho-S259) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises the Raf-1 kinase only when phosphorylated at Serine 259. The reagent is unconjugated and supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2.

It was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Raf-1 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 259, and detects endogenous levels of Raf1 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser259. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE). The target protein migrates at approximately 73 kDa.

Validated for WB (Western blot) and IHC (immunohistochemistry), the antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.
