Raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent, this unconjugated primary antibody targets Raf-1 (also called C-Raf or c-Raf), a cytosolic serine/threonine kinase that sits at the apex of the classical MAPK/ERK cascade. Raf-1 transduces signals from active Ras-GTP to MEK1/2 and then to ERK1/2, and the pathway regulates proliferation, differentiation, survival, and apoptosis in many cell types.
