This Rabbit polyclonal antibody targets Radixin, a member of the ezrin-radixin-moesin (ERM) family that tethers the actin cytoskeleton to the plasma membrane. Produced by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent, it is supplied as a 100 µl liquid at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. The unconjugated antibody was raised in rabbit and validated for Western blot (WB) applications across Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, supporting studies of cytoskeletal remodeling, adherens and tight junction assembly, microvilli formation, and membrane protein anchoring. Researchers commonly use it to map radixin localization at the apical membrane of polarized epithelial cells and to track its phosphorylation-dependent activation during cell migration and morphogenesis. The polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes on the target, which can strengthen immunoblotting signal compared with monoclonal alternatives. Aliquot upon receipt and store at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody performance. This product is intended for research use only and is not approved for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
