Supplied by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against the RAD9A checkpoint protein and is offered in a 50 µl format at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL. The antibody was generated by immunising rabbits with recombinant human RAD9A and subsequently purified by affinity chromatography against the immunogen, yielding an unconjugated Ig preparation that is free of carrier proteins. For laboratory convenience, the product is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4 (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) containing 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. Shipments leave the Antibodies.com facility in St. Louis, Missouri on gel packs at 4 °C; upon arrival the vial should be aliquoted and stored long term at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve binding activity. Validated applications include Western blotting and immunohistochemistry on human and rat samples, with immunofluorescence also reported by authorised distributor listings, and the reagent has been used to detect endogenous levels of total RAD9A in cell and tissue lysates. The polyclonal nature of the reagent means multiple epitopes across the RAD9A target are recognised, which can improve sensitivity in demanding assays. The vial contains no preservative-free components and is intended for research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
