Targeting the RAD9A checkpoint protein, this monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com supports research into DNA damage response and cell cycle regulation. RAD9A forms part of the Rad9-Hus1-Rad1 (9-1-1) sliding clamp complex that is loaded onto chromatin at stalled replication forks and sites of genotoxic stress, where it acts as a checkpoint mediator and becomes phosphorylated by ATM and ATR kinases to enforce S-phase and G2/M arrest.

Generated in mouse hosts and purified to an unconjugated IgG preparation, the reagent is supplied as 100 µl of liquid in 0.1 M Tris-Glycine buffer (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) containing 50% glycerol and 0.2% sodium azide. The unconjugated presentation allows pairing with commonly used secondary antibody conjugates and standard immunodetection workflows.

Validated for Western blot (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP), the antibody shows reactivity across human, mouse, rat, and monkey samples, supporting cross-species comparison of checkpoint signaling. Storage at refrigerated temperatures is recommended, with protection from light and limiting freeze-thaw cycles to maintain binding activity over the shelf life of the reagent.
