Anti-Rad51 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against the human Rad51 protein, a central player in homologous recombination and DNA double-strand break repair. The reagent is supplied as a 50 µL liquid at 1 mg/mL, formulated in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide. Immunisation was performed with a synthetic peptide derived from the human Rad51 sequence surrounding the non-phosphorylation site at tyrosine 315, and the antiserum was affinity-purified by epitope-specific affinity chromatography to enrich for antibodies that selectively detect endogenous Rad51.
