Anti-Rad51 Antibody

This primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against Rad51. It is supplied in unconjugated liquid form, with an IgG isotype and polyclonal clonality.

The antibody was generated using recombinant full length human Rad51 protein as immunogen and purified by affinity chromatography. It is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline with 50% glycerol, filter sterilised, carrier free and without sodium azide, at a stated concentration of 1 mg/ml. According to the manufacturer, it is shipped at 4°C and, on arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided.

Validated applications include Western blotting at 1:1,000–1:10,000, immunoprecipitation at 1:1,00–1:1,000, immunofluorescence at 1:1,000–1:10,000, immunohistochemistry at 1:1,000–1:5,000, dot blot at 1:1,000–1:5,000, ChIP and ELISA at 1:2,000–1:5,000. Reactivity has been demonstrated against human, mouse, rat, chicken and Xenopus samples, and the reagent has been cited in one publication.
