Raised in rabbit as a polyclonal IgG, this Antibodies.com reagent targets the human RAD23A protein, a key component of the nucleotide excision repair (NER) pathway that partners with the xeroderma pigmentosum group C (XPC) complex in DNA damage recognition and shuttles ubiquitinated substrates to the proteasome.
Unconjugated and validated for Western blot, the antibody reacts with both human and mouse RAD23A, supporting comparative studies of DNA repair and proteostasis across species. Each vial contains 100 µL of antibody, and aliquoting upon arrival along with limiting freeze-thaw cycles helps preserve binding activity through repeated experiments. The reagent is intended for research use only and supports immunoblotting of endogenous RAD23A in mammalian cell and tissue lysates.
