Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against a recombinant human RAD17 immunogen and is supplied as an unconjugated antiserum at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL pack size. The antibody detects the endogenous level of total RAD17 protein, the cell-cycle checkpoint factor also known as hRad17, R24L, or RF-C/activator 1 homolog, and has been validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry (WB, IHC) on human, mouse, and rat samples. Purification by antigen-affinity chromatography yields a clean rabbit IgG polyclonal preparation, free of carrier proteins, that is well suited to routine detection of the RAD17 checkpoint kinase in cell-cycle and DNA-damage response studies. The product is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. Vials are shipped at 4 °C from the St. Louis, MO warehouse with a typical lead time of 6–9 business days, and upon arrival the antibody should be stored at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles to preserve activity. A larger 100 µL format is also listed on the same Antibodies.com product page for laboratories that need additional aliquots for ongoing DNA-damage and checkpoint-signalling projects.
