RAD1 is a highly conserved subunit of the 9-1-1 DNA damage response complex (RAD9-HUS1-RAD1), which functions as a sliding clamp that loads onto damaged chromatin and helps activate ATR-dependent checkpoint signaling following genotoxic stress. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com specifically recognizes RAD1 across human, mouse, and rat samples, making it well suited for cross-species studies of DNA repair, checkpoint control, and cell cycle regulation. The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) applications, enabling researchers to monitor RAD1 protein expression levels and subcellular localization in cultured cells and tissue sections. Supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal serum, the antibody offers flexibility for standard immunoblotting workflows and microscopy-based investigations of genome stability, replication fork collapse, and S-phase checkpoint activation. Storage at -20°C in working aliquots is recommended to preserve activity across repeated experiments and to minimize freeze-thaw damage to the antibody preparation.
