RAC2 is a small GTPase of the Rho family that serves as a master regulator of actin cytoskeleton remodeling in hematopoietic lineages, and this rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com specifically targets the endogenous protein. The antibody recognizes epitopes useful for studying how RAC2 directs NADPH oxidase assembly and the resulting reactive oxygen species burst in neutrophils, drives directed chemotaxis of leukocytes toward inflammatory cues, and supports phagocytic cup formation during microbial engulfment.

Supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the unconjugated reagent is provided as a 100 µl vial that is ready to dilute into blocking buffer for immunoblotting or into antigen retrieval workflows for tissue staining. Validated applications include Western blot and immunohistochemistry, and reactivity has been confirmed in human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting comparative work across primary tissues and cultured cell lines.

Investigators focused on neutrophil migration, phagocyte activation, hematopoietic stem and progenitor cell differentiation, leukocyte adhesion deficiency, chronic granulomatous disease, and Rho GTPase signaling use this reagent to detect endogenous RAC2 in whole-cell lysates and in fixed, paraffin-embedded or cryosectioned tissue specimens.
