Anti-RAC1 (phospho S71) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against RAC1 phosphorylated at Ser71 and is supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation in liquid form. It is validated for western blotting applications and has been tested for reactivity with human and rat samples.

The antibody is generated using a synthetic phosphorylated peptide corresponding to the region around S71 of human RAC1 (NP_008839.2), with the immunogen sequence PLSYP, and is purified by affinity chromatography. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 28 kDa. The formulation is Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal. The product is shipped at 4°C; aliquots should be stored at -20°C with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. For western blotting, the manufacturer recommends a working dilution range of 1:500 to 1:1,000.
