Anti-Rac1 (Ab-71) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against Rac1 (Ab-71), offered by Antibodies.com. The unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and immunohistochemistry (IHC), and reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. It detects endogenous levels of total Rac1 protein.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 69–73 (P-L-S-Y-P) of human Rac1. Antibodies were produced by immunising rabbits with the synthetic peptide conjugated to KLH and purified by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific peptide.

The reagent is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. It is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery, aliquot and store at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
