Primary antibodies against Ras-related small GTPases are central to studies of endosomal trafficking and receptor recycling. This unconjugated mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes RAB4A, a small GTP-binding protein that regulates the rapid recycling of internalized cargo from early endosomes back to the plasma membrane. RAB4A activity has been linked to EGFR and integrin trafficking, immune synapse organization, and early endosomal sorting, supporting its use in cell signaling, neurobiology, and tumor biology research programs.

Validated for Western blot and immunocytochemistry, the reagent cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat RAB4A, enabling comparative work across standard model systems. Each vial is supplied as 100 µl of purified immunoglobulin in a buffer containing 0.1 M Tris-Glycine at pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, with 0.2% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as stabilizers. Sodium azide is present as a preservative, which should be considered before any live-cell or in vivo conjugation step. The unconjugated format leaves full flexibility for the end user to couple the antibody to a fluorophore, biotin, HRP, or other reporter of choice.

Laboratories investigating receptor internalization, membrane traffic, and signaling turnover can pair this reagent with subcellular fractionation, immunofluorescence staining of fixed cells, or Western blot analysis of whole-cell lysates. To preserve binding activity, the vial should be aliquoted on first thaw and protected from repeated freeze-thaw cycles during long-term storage.
