RAB39 is a member of the Rab family of small GTPases that regulates intracellular vesicular trafficking, with RAB39A linked to phagocytic cup formation and antigen presentation, and RAB39B associated with X-linked intellectual disability and early-onset Parkinson's disease. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against the RAB39 target and validated for Western blot detection across Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. The antibody is supplied in a 100 µl vial of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% glycerol, a buffer system that maintains reagent stability through repeated freeze-thaw cycles and supports long-term storage. In research use, it is commonly applied to characterise endogenous RAB39 expression in neuronal cell lines, microglia, and macrophage models, where researchers probe total lysates to compare expression between wild-type and knockout animals or between patient-derived iPSC neurons carrying RAB39B mutations and isogenic controls. The polyclonal format increases the chance of recognising multiple epitopes on the RAB39 protein, which can be useful when studying isoform-specific bands by Western blot.
