Anti-RAB38 Antibody

This polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against human RAB38, a small Rab-family GTPase that directs intracellular vesicle trafficking to lysosome-related organelles including melanosomes and platelet dense granules. Loss-of-function mutations in RAB38 are linked to Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome type 2, and the protein has been studied in melanocyte pigmentation, lung type II pneumocyte surfactant secretion, and mast cell granule biogenesis. The unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blot on lysates from human, mouse, and rat origin, with the polyclonal format supporting recognition of multiple epitopes across the target. Supplied as 50 µl of ready-to-use reagent in a single vial, the IgG preparation performs well on denatured and reduced protein samples and is appropriate for expression profiling of endogenous RAB38 in cell lines and primary tissues relevant to LRO biology.
