RAB2B is a small GTPase of the Rab family that participates in vesicular trafficking between the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi apparatus. This unconjugated Rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against the human RAB2B protein for use in western blot and immunofluorescence workflows. Supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum in a vial, it reacts with human samples and is validated for immunoblotting of cell lysates as well as imaging of fixed cells by immunofluorescence. Because the antibody is unconjugated, end users can pair it with a preferred secondary detection reagent, whether HRP for chemiluminescent western blot or fluorophore-conjugated secondaries for IF microscopy. The vial should be refrigerated for working use, with longer-term storage frozen; limiting freeze-thaw cycles helps preserve antibody activity. Researchers investigating Golgi-associated membrane trafficking, secretory pathway regulation, or comparative Rab GTPase function commonly deploy this reagent to detect endogenous RAB2B in lysates and to localize the protein to subcellular compartments in fixed specimens.
