This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets RAB11A, a small GTPase of the Rab family that governs endocytic recycling and vesicle trafficking through pericentrosomal recycling endosomes. Supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS buffer containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the unconjugated 100 µl aliquot is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples.
RAB11A localizes to tubulovesicular recycling compartments, and laboratories routinely deploy this reagent to monitor cargo sorting, cytokinesis, cell migration, and receptor internalization across cell lines and tissue sections. In cancer biology, the antibody is applied to studies of tumor invasion, metastasis, and EGFR trafficking, where elevated RAB11A expression correlates with proliferative and invasive phenotypes. Neuroscience researchers use it to investigate postsynaptic receptor delivery and activity-dependent plasticity, while cell biology groups apply it in cell culture and in vitro endosome-tracking assays that follow transferrin recycling through the Rab11-positive compartment.
