Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Mouse monoclonal reagent targets the C-terminal region of Pyruvate Dehydrogenase (PDHA1) and is supplied as a purified IgG1 antibody in a 50 µL volume, presented unconjugated and free of additional labels. The antibody is raised in Mouse and is recommended for Western blotting at approximately 1:1000 and for Immunocytochemistry (ICC), with validation data showing clean detection of PDHA1 on HeLa cells and on whole-cell lysates. Reactivity has been confirmed against Human, Mouse, Rat, and Canine samples, making the reagent useful across a range of standard mammalian model systems and primary cell work. The product is purified by antigen-affinity chromatography and formulated in 0.1 M Tris-Glycine buffer (pH 7.4) with 150 mM NaCl, 0.2% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant; the predicted molecular weight of the target is approximately 50 kDa, consistent with the PDHA1 subunit. The immunogen corresponds to a recombinant fragment spanning amino acids 131–389 of the human PDHA1 C-terminus. For short-term use the antibody should be kept at 2–8 °C, and for longer storage it should be aliquoted and held at –20 °C in single-use fractions to avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. Intended for research use only and not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications, this Primary Antibody is a dependable tool for laboratories studying mitochondrial metabolism, the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex, and related metabolic or oncogenic pathways.
