Anti-PYK2 Antibody

This mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com specifically recognizes PYK2 (Proline-rich tyrosine kinase 2), also known as PTK2B, FAK2, or CAKβ, a non-receptor protein tyrosine kinase that is structurally related to focal adhesion kinase (FAK). PYK2 is activated by intracellular calcium influx and propagates signals through downstream MAPK and PI3K pathways, contributing to neuronal development, synaptic plasticity, osteoclast differentiation, and lymphocyte activation. The reagent is supplied as a 100 µL aliquot of purified immunoglobulin in 0.1M Tris-Glycine buffer (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) containing 50% glycerol and 0.2% sodium azide as a preservative.
