Anti-PYGL Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets glycogen phosphorylase, liver form (PYGL) and is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. The antibody was raised against a recombinant human PYGL immunogen and purified by affinity chromatography, yielding an unconjugated preparation that detects endogenous levels of total PYGL. It is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse, and rat samples. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. The polyclonal nature of the host response makes this reagent well suited for laboratories studying glycogen metabolism, hepatic energy balance, and related signaling pathways, and it is intended for research use only.
