Anti-PVALB Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against PVALB (parvalbumin alpha), the calcium-binding protein widely used as a marker for cortical and interneurons. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in 50 µl of phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), pH approximately 7.3, containing 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative, and is validated for Western Blot (WB) applications. It cross-reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples and is offered with an estimated purity of greater than 95%, making it suitable for research-use-only detection of endogenous PVALB in lysates prepared from neural and muscle tissues. The polyclonal host (rabbit) format provides broad epitope coverage, which is particularly helpful when working with post-translationally modified or partially denatured targets.
