Anti-PUF60 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets PUF60 (Poly-U Binding Splicing Factor 60), a multifunctional RNA-binding protein involved in pre-mRNA splicing, 3'-end mRNA processing, and transcriptional regulation. PUF60 contains RNA recognition motif (RRM) domains, binds U-rich polypyrimidine tracts in nascent transcripts, and participates in apoptosis control and the cellular DNA damage response. Germline mutations in the PUF60 gene are linked to Verheij syndrome, a congenital developmental disorder characterized by intellectual disability, growth retardation, and craniofacial anomalies.

Supplied as 200 µl of polyclonal IgG in an unconjugated format, the reagent is validated for Western blot analysis of endogenous PUF60 in human, mouse, and rat samples. The antibody is raised in rabbit and is intended for immunoblotting of whole-cell or tissue lysates, where it detects the approximately 60 kDa PUF60 protein.
