PUF60 (Poly(U)-Binding Splicing Factor 60 kDa) is an RNA-binding protein best known as a component of the spliceosome, where it contributes to pre-mRNA splicing and the regulation of alternative splice site selection. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes the human, mouse, and rat PUF60 protein and is supplied as 100 µl of liquid antiserum suitable for western blot and immunofluorescence workflows. The reagent is raised in rabbit and is intended for research use only, supporting studies of spliceosomal assembly, transcriptional regulation, and developmental biology, including work on Verheij syndrome where PUF60 haploinsufficiency has been implicated. For best results, store the vial at -20 °C in aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light.
