Anti-PTRH2 Antibody

This rabbit-derived polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets human PTRH2 (peptidyl-tRNA hydrolase 2), a mitochondrial matrix enzyme also known as BIT1 that recycles stalled peptidyl-tRNA and drives anoikis through integrin-linked survival signaling. Autosomal-recessive loss-of-function variants in PTRH2 cause an infantile-onset multisystem disorder featuring progressive neurodegeneration, sensorineural hearing loss, congenital microcephaly, and cerebellar atrophy, making the protein a target of active interest in mitochondrial disease and neurodevelopment research.

Validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples, the antibody is unconjugated and supplied in a 100 µl vial.
