Anti-PTPRF Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises PTPRF (also referred to as LAR) and is validated for Western blot (WB) applications. The unconjugated IgG reagent is raised in rabbit and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 30–190 of human PTPRF (NP_569707.2), and the target protein has a reported molecular weight of 150 kDa. The antibody is prepared as a liquid in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and is purified by affinity chromatography.

It is shipped at 4 °C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. The manufacturer recommends a working dilution of 1:500–1:2,000 for Western blot.
