PTPN7 (Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase, Non-Receptor Type 7), also called HEPTP, is a class I classical non-receptor phosphatase best known for restraining MAP kinase signaling through a kinase interaction motif that docks ERK1/2 and p38. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against PTPN7 and validated for Western blot (WB) on human samples, with the target band typically detected near the predicted molecular weight of approximately 40 kDa.

Supplied as 200 µL of polyclonal antiserum in a single vial, the antibody is unconjugated to give researchers freedom to pair it with HRP, biotin, or fluorophore labeling chemistry downstream. The host is rabbit, the isotype is IgG, and the clonality is polyclonal, supporting recognition of multiple epitopes on PTPN7 for reproducible detection across cell and tissue lysate preparations. Reactivity is restricted to human PTPN7.

Recommended handling: store refrigerated and aliquot on arrival to limit freeze-thaw cycles; protect from light once any conjugate is added. PTPN7 is expressed in hematopoietic lineages, hepatocytes, and selected neural tissues, making this antibody a useful tool for studies of T-cell receptor signaling, MAP kinase pathway attenuation, leukocyte differentiation, and phosphatase biology, in vitro and in vivo.
