PTPN7 (Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase Non-Receptor Type 7), also referred to as HEPTP, is a non-receptor protein tyrosine phosphatase preferentially expressed in hematopoietic tissues, where it modulates MAPK signaling and immune cell responses. This polyclonal rabbit primary antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied at 100 µl per vial and has been validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples. The unconjugated format gives researchers flexibility to pair it with the secondary antibody label of their choice.

The antibody is reactive with human PTPN7 and supports studies of T-cell receptor signaling, hematopoiesis, and PTP family expression profiling. Groups investigating phosphorylation-dependent signaling cascades, including MAPK pathway regulation in lymphocytes, use this reagent to probe endogenous PTPN7 levels in cell lysates by Western blot or to localize PTPN7 in fixed tissue sections by immunohistochemistry.

For Western blot, the antibody is applied to whole-cell lysates; for IHC, antigen retrieval protocols combined with peroxidase- or fluorescent-based detection chemistries are commonly paired with this polyclonal reagent. Storage at 4 °C in the supplied 100 µl vial is recommended, and small aliquots may be prepared to limit freeze-thaw cycles when kept for longer-term use.

Each lot is raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent and is shipped unconjugated. Researchers characterizing PTPN7 expression in immune-relevant tissues or cell line models will find this antibody applicable for both protein-level detection in lysates and spatial localization in tissue sections.
