Anti-PTPN6 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets PTPN6 (also known as SHP1), a protein-tyrosine phosphatase. The antibody is supplied as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and has been affinity purified. It is of the IgG isotype and unconjugated.

The immunogen was a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 100–400 of human SHP1 (NP_002822.2), and the predicted molecular weight of the target is 68 kDa. The antibody is validated for Western blot and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence applications.

Recommended dilutions are 1:500 to 1:2,000 for Western blot and 1:50 to 1:200 for immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence. Reactivity has been demonstrated with human, mouse, and rat samples. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
