Anti-PTPN11 (phospho Y542) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com raised against PTPN11 (SHP2) when phosphorylated at tyrosine 542. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphorylated peptide surrounding Y542 of human PTPN11 (NP_002825.3), and the reagent is supplied as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal. The target protein migrates at 72 kDa. The antibody is unconjugated and affinity-purified, and is validated for Western blot at a recommended dilution of 1:500–1:1,000 and immunohistochemistry at 1:50–1:100. It reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. The product is shipped at 4 °C and upon delivery should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
