This rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent targets PTP4A1 (Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase 4A1, also called PRL-1), a dual-specificity phosphatase implicated in cell-cycle progression, cell migration, and tumor metastatic signaling. Supplied by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody, the preparation is delivered unconjugated in a 100 µl vial and is validated for Western Blot (WB) detection of the human and mouse PTP4A1 target.

The polyclonal host response yields reagent tolerance for minor epitope variation typical of rabbit-derived antibodies, and the unconjugated format enables downstream pairing with HRP-conjugated, fluorophore-conjugated, or biotin-conjugated secondary reagents chosen to match a chemiluminescence, fluorescence, or streptavidin workflow. IgG isotype ensures compatibility with standard anti-rabbit secondary detection systems. Endogenous PTP4A1 expression can be probed in whole-cell lysates and tissue homogenates prepared from cultured mammalian cells or from mouse tissue, with appropriate positive-control lysates overexpressing PTP4A1 used alongside negative controls. Researchers studying oncogenic phosphatase signaling, colorectal or hepatic cancer cell biology, and regenerative-liver phenotypes commonly rely on this reagent in their Western Blot protocols.

For storage, aliquot the antibody upon first thaw to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles and hold working stocks refrigerated; long-term storage at -20 °C is recommended. For research use only.
