Anti-PTP1C Antibody [PTY6]

Mouse monoclonal (PTY6) antibody to Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase 1 C, supplied by Antibodies.com as a lyophilised, unconjugated preparation. The antibody is of the IgG1 isotype and has been validated for ELISA, Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF), reacting with human samples. It is raised against purified recombinant protein corresponding to full-length PTP1-C.

According to the manufacturer's specificity data, the clone recognises a single 67kDa PTP1-C species in human cells that express the enzyme and the SH2(C) domain. The antibody is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and lyophilised from a 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution at pH 7.2, with the reported concentration described as reconstitution dependent.

The product is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C while avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. Reconstitution is performed with double distilled water, and the reported epitope is Sp2/0-Ag14.
