Anti-PTP1C Antibody [PTY13]

Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone PTY13) raised against Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase 1 C (PTP1C), available from Antibodies.com as a lyophilised, unconjugated reagent produced in mouse. The antibody is of the IgG2b isotype and is reactive with human samples. It has been validated for ELISA, Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) applications.

According to the manufacturer's product information, the immunogen was a purified recombinant protein corresponding to full-length PTP1-C. The reagent recognises a single 67 kDa band of PTP1-C in human cells that express the enzyme and the SH2(C) domain. Purity is achieved by Protein G affinity chromatography, and the product is lyophilised from a solution of 0.01 M Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.2. The epitope is reported as Sp2/0-Ag14. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. It is reconstituted with double distilled water, with the working concentration dependent on the reconstitution volume.
