Anti-PTP1B (Y46) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets PTP1B at the Y46 epitope and is classified within the Primary Antibodies range. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

Validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), the antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. It was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 20-70 of human PTP1B and specifically detects endogenous levels of PTP1B protein. The reagent was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The target runs at an observed molecular weight of approximately 49 kDa.
