Anti-PTMA Antibody [6H7]

Antibodies.com provides a Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 6H7) raised against Prothymosin alpha (PTMA). The unconjugated IgG1 reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and ELISA workflows and reacts with human samples. It is supplied as a lyophilised preparation.

Immunisation was performed using a short peptide derived from PTMA conjugated with KLH (immunogen sequence: EEAENGRDAPANGNAN). The antibody recognises the PTMA peptide (EEAENGRDAPANGAN) and GST-tagged recombinant PTMA protein. Purity is achieved by Protein G affinity chromatography, and the product is lyophilised from a 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution at pH 7.0; reconstitution with double distilled water is recommended. Antibody concentration is reconstitution dependent.

The lyophilised antibody is shipped at 4°C. Upon delivery, it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
