Anti-PTMA Antibody [6A3]

A mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, clone 6A3, is raised against Prothymosin alpha (PTMA) and supplied in lyophilised form. The reagent is of the IgG1 isotype, unconjugated, and reactive with human samples. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and ELISA applications.

The immunogen is a short peptide derived from PTMA, conjugated with KLH for immunization, with the immunogen sequence EEAENGRDAPANGNAN. The antibody recognises the PTMA peptide EEAENGRDAPANGAN as well as GST-tagged recombinant PTMA protein. It is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and supplied lyophilised from a 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution at pH 7.0; concentration is reconstitution dependent.

The product is shipped at 4°C. Upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Reconstitution is performed with double distilled water, and the epitope is associated with the Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma line.
