Anti-PTMA Antibody [4A7]

This Mouse monoclonal [4A7] antibody to Prothymosin alpha (PTMA) is supplied by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody. Of the IgG1 isotype and unconjugated, it is raised in mouse, validated for WB and ELISA applications, and reactive with human samples.

The immunogen is a short peptide derived from PTMA, conjugated with KLH. According to the manufacturer, the antibody recognises the PTMA peptide (EEAENGRDAPANGAN) and GST-tagged recombinant PTMA protein, with the epitope reported as Sp2/0-Ag14.

The product is provided lyophilised from a 0.01M Phosphate Buffered Saline solution at pH 7.0 and is purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. Concentration is reconstitution dependent; the product should be reconstituted with double distilled water. It is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
