Anti-PTK2 (phospho Y576 + Y577) Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody recognises PTK2 (also referred to as FAK) when phosphorylated at Tyr576 and Tyr577. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphorylated peptide surrounding Y576 and Y577 of human PTK2 (NP_722560.1), corresponding to the sequence STYYKA. The unconjugated, affinity-purified reagent is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and relates to a target protein with a reported molecular weight of 130 kDa.

The antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) on human samples and is recommended for use at a dilution of 1:500 to 1:2,000 for WB. It is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
