The Anti-PTK2 (phospho Y397) Antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent that specifically detects Focal Adhesion Kinase (FAK) when phosphorylated at tyrosine 397, the autophosphorylation site generated upon integrin engagement and growth factor stimulation. Supplied as an unconjugated IgG in a 200 µl vial, it is validated for Western Blot on human and rat samples, making it a useful tool for studying focal adhesion turnover, integrin signaling, cytoskeletal reorganization, and cell migration pathways implicated in cancer metastasis and tissue remodeling research. Each vial should be stored frozen in small aliquots to preserve activity across multiple freeze-thaw cycles, and the reagent is intended for research use only in standard immunoblotting workflows where phospho-specific detection of active FAK is required.
