Anti-PTGS2 Antibody

Available from Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets PTGS2, also known as COX2. It is supplied as an unconjugated IgG antibody raised in rabbit and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. The antibody is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF) and immunoprecipitation (IP).

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 18–111 of human COX2/PTGS2 (NP_000954.1). The reagent is provided as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and has been purified by affinity chromatography. The target protein has a molecular weight of 69 kDa.

Recommended starting dilutions are WB 1:500–1:1,000 and IHC 1:50–1:200. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
