Prostaglandin I2 receptor (PTGIR, also called IP) is a G protein-coupled receptor that binds prostacyclin and contributes to vasodilation and the inhibition of platelet aggregation. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets the PTGIR protein for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows, with reactivity confirmed against human and mouse samples. Supplied as 100 µl of antiserum, the antibody probes IP receptor distribution in vascular, pulmonary, and inflammatory tissue sections and works on lysates or fixed specimens in cardiovascular and pharmacology research. Aliquot upon receipt and store at -20 °C to preserve performance; protect from light and limit freeze-thaw cycles.
