Raised in rabbit against the human prostaglandin F2 receptor negative regulator (PTGFRN) target, this unconjugated polyclonal primary antibody is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot by Antibodies.com. The reagent is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows, allowing detection of PTGFRN expression across human sample types.

PTGFRN, also referenced in the literature as CD9P-1 or EWIF, is a single-pass type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin superfamily. It associates with the tetraspanin family members CD9 and CD81 and acts as a negative regulator of prostaglandin F2-alpha signaling through the FP receptor. It has been studied in the context of cell adhesion, immune cell interactions, and tumor progression, and the antibody is intended for research use only.

The unconjugated format allows the antibody to be paired with a user-selected secondary detection reagent, while the polyclonal mixture of epitope specificities increases the chance of recognizing denatured or processed forms of the protein across applications. Host species is rabbit, clonality is polyclonal, conjugate is unconjugated, and reactivity is reported for human samples. The 100 µl volume supports multiple experiments under standard antibody storage conditions.
