The PTGER4 receptor, also called EP4, is a G protein-coupled receptor for prostaglandin E2 that mediates signaling linked to inflammation, bone remodeling, vascular homeostasis, and colorectal carcinogenesis. This rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against PTGER4 and supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation in a 200 µL vial, ready for use in Western blot workflows across Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

Validated for WB, the reagent allows detection of endogenous receptor levels in cell lysates and tissue homogenates, supporting studies of EP4 pathway modulation in cancer cell lines, primary immune cells, and rodent disease models. The polyclonal format increases the likelihood of recognizing multiple epitopes on the receptor, which is useful when probing truncated splice variants or post-translationally modified PTGER4 species.

Aliquot the antibody upon arrival and refrigerate for short-term storage to preserve activity for repeated experiments; for longer-term storage, freeze at -20 °C in working aliquots and limit freeze-thaw cycles. The unconjugated format gives researchers full flexibility to choose their own HRP, fluorophore, or biotin secondary detection system to match their Western blot imaging platform.
