Anti-PTEN (phospho S380 + T382 + T383) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide spanning residues 370–400 of human PTEN, the tumour-suppressor phosphatase targeted by casein kinase 2. The antibody recognises the protein exclusively when serine 380 and threonines 382 and 383 are simultaneously phosphorylated, the CK2-driven cluster modification that stabilises PTEN in a closed, predominantly cytoplasmic conformation with reduced membrane recruitment and attenuated lipid phosphatase activity.

Affinity-purified from rabbit serum using the immunising phosphopeptide and supplied as 200 µl of liquid stock in PBS pH 7.4 with 150 mM NaCl, 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, the unconjugated reagent resolves the canonical ~47 kDa PTEN band on immunoblots. It is validated on Human, Mouse and Rat specimens for Western blot, immunohistochemistry on fixed sections following standard antigen retrieval, and immunofluorescence, and supports kinase-substrate mapping of the CK2 pathway alongside phospho-PTEN signalling studies in oncology, neuroscience and metabolic disease models.

For best stability, aliquot upon first use to limit freeze-thaw cycles, store the working stock at –20 °C in a manual-defrost freezer, and avoid sodium-azide-sensitive secondary conjugates in downstream labelling workflows.
