Anti-PTEN Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody to PTEN (phospho-S380/T382/T383), offered by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent. The unconjugated antibody is raised in rabbit and validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC). It is reactive with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human PTEN around the phosphorylation site of Serine 380 and 382 and Threonine 383. The antibody detects endogenous levels of PTEN protein only when phosphorylated at Ser380/T382/T383. The target has a reported molecular weight of approximately 47 and 54 kDa. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, with purity reported as > 95% by SDS-PAGE.

The product is formulated at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.
